The City of Oak Point's Public Works Department is located at City Hall. The Public Works Department has two employees, Martin Almaraz and Shanon Roach. Work hours are the same as City Hall. Equipment replacement has been an ongoing project with this department. The Department currently possesses one 2000 Volvo road grader, one 1996 Ford dump truck, one 1999 backhoe, three pick-up trucks, two tractors, one batwing mower, along with miscellaneous other equipment, most of which is three years old or newer.
